VIBRATORY FINISH EQUIPMENT
MACHINES FOR PROPELLER SHOPS
UNIQUE MOUNTING SYSTEM TO INCREASE LONGEVITY OF TUB LINING

Finishing a Stainless Steel propeller is a difficult task. After the re-building operation of a propeller, there can be as much finishing work, or more work required when the propeller was originally manufactured.
The purpose of this finishing technique is to simplify the laborious and somewhat dangerous task of polishing a marine propeller.
No matter how extensive the repair is, a stainless propeller can be refinished to an original surface finish as long as certain guidelines are followed. If welding of heavy grinding has been done, smoothing of this area must take place. Normal belt polishing or abrasive wheel polishing is fine for removing the heavy marks.
Three standard sizes of vibratory machines are offered, they are:
| Model | Capacity In Cubic Feet | Largest Propeller Diameter |
| GVM 1236 | 3 | 10 Inch Overall |
| GVM 1840 | 5 | 16 Inch Overall |
| GVM 2040 | 8 | 18 Inch Overall |
How Long Does This Take?
Plan on four hours for the wet process, if the belted pre-finish is a 220/240.
Add 2 - 4 hours in a second step wet process using a second wet media. This also could require a second or third machine to keep the production numbers up where they are needed.
The dry process will take four hours or longer if the finish needs to be brighter.
